The image of an ad that Liberty House and Rhodes placed in The Sacramento Bee 26 Aug 1973
I have seen sellers misrepresent these tokens as from being from Hawaii. Liberty house did get it's start in Hawaii. They expanded to the mainland which included 3 stores in Sacramento area. Everything I can find indicates it was these Sacramento stores and at least two other northern California store that participated in the Gold Rush days.
