Undated Valdez, Alaska Mining Token. AU55 Uncertified. Bernice 11A, copper, 38 mm. Probably early 20th century. The Knight Island Copper Mining Company issued these tokens to stockholders of record, and today they are collected alongside trade tokens.
Although it does not say it, it is safe to assume it was made of native Alaska copper from its mine. In business 1906-17. This token may have been used to sell stock.
