Comment

Jehan Rogier was Seigneur de Bouchillon, King's Counselor, Judge and Private Lieutenant at the Bailliage of Touraine and the Presidential Seat of Tours, and Mayor of Tours from November 1608 to October 1610. His coat of arms bears azure, three golden roses two and one, and a silver crescent in heart.
His family originated from Poitiers. His granddaughter Louise bore Gaston d'Orléans, brother of Louis XIII, a natural son known as Louis d'Orléans, comte de Chamy, born in Tours in 1638, who died in Spain after being legitimized.
