Au moment de son inauguration comme comte de Namur, François II n'avait pas encore été couronné empereur et les jetons frappés à cette occasion ne portent pas le titre impérial. Après le couronnement à Francfort le 14 juillet 1792, les états de Namur demandèrent l'autorisation de faire frapper de nouveaux jetons avec la nouvelle titulature.Ce jeton existe en argent, en bronze et en bronze doré.
