The Villa des Fleurs, property of Mr. Bias until 1866, was located in the middle of a park with an open air theater. The house was transformed into a casino by Chatron in 1877 and inaugurated as such in 1879. Subsequent renovations and alterations fixed the final plan and appearance in 1899. In the spring of 1909, the Société des casinos managed the two gaming houses in Aix together. The villa was destroyed by fire in 1955; gaming had ceased twenty years earlier.
