The abbreviation ULFS stands for "Union Luxembourgeoise des Travailleurs du Fer et de la Sidérurgie". Their headquarters and premises were located at 23 Grand-Rue in Rumelange (Rümelingen) from 1924 onwards. The cooperative minted four different tokens, the present type having been issued in the 1950s. The other three types are round and made of brass or octagonal and made of aluminum. These tokens were used for bowling, and their value was fixed at one franc from 1929. Fifteen centimes went to the "Kélebouw" (the boy who straightened the pins).
The cooperative's headquarters and its Café "Am Heim" are still located here today.
The reverse side is distinguished from the right side by the umlaut over the U of the locality.
