Token were struck in a late mediaeval style, using engraved dies and a sledgehammer. The metal for the planchet blanks were made available in Copper, Aluminium or Brass and subsequently struck by the show attendee(s). Token's planchet were available at the coin show admissions desk for a cost $5 per planchet.
Due to the nature of being hand struck, each token features’ it’s own irregular shape due to the nature of being hand struck. This method of hand striking simulates the way ancient late mediaeval style coins were minted 2000 or more years ago.
