German magician Friederich Joseph Basch (1833-1877), his brothers Ernst (1838-1908) and Heinrich (1841-1876) and their father Hirsch Wilhelm Basch formed what became known as the Basch magical dynasty. Ernst stopped performing professionally in 1887 thereby ending the family tradition.This magic token was used as advertisement for regular evening performances by Ernst Basch.
