Comment
There is no reference to the Dag van de Munt (Day of the Mint) on the token itself, but it is mentioned on a “ coincard” with the token, plus a 20 cents and a 5 cents coin.
After 2003, the text “Dag van de munt” is not always used on the tokens in this category.
After the privatisation of the Mint, the Mint museum was renamed to Geld- en Bankmuseum (later shortened to Geldmuseum), and their logo, a different one than that of the Mint, was used for a number of years. On this token, the caduceus logo of the mint was used again.
