Comment

Token not listed in Raymond Weiller's two books.

Michel Weisen and Anne Ferrari's "Café Restaurant des Sportsmen" was located in the Rue de Bastogne or at the beginning of the Grand-Rue. The establishment was taken over by Michel Weisen in December 1937 and remained in his possession for only a short time. It may well have been the former Café Petit, run between 1904 and 1932 by Charles Pütz-Petit.

Weiller type token no. 43, ordered via the intermediary Auguste Nimax and minted before the Second World War at the Fisch & Cie workshop in Brussels.
