Token from Café Mendels, 2, place des Martyrs, Strassen (1937 - 1950), owned by Mrs. Rosalie Mendels.The value of the token was 25 sous. In 1938, this token was worth half a cent. Due to the rising price of beer, 4 such tokens were needed for a half in 1948 (Weiller p. 447).
