Comment

Café Kummer, located at 11, rue de Mondorf, was run between 1946 and 1958 by Pierre Kummer-Schmit and then by Nicolas Kummer-Mersch and his wife Anne Mersch from 1958 to 1979. The Café Kummer was still in existence a few years ago, but nowadays a Pizzeria has moved in.

This token, minted in 1948 in a limited edition (300 copies), is the only one issued by Pierre Kummer. His successor, Nicolas Kummer, was also issued a token, see Weiller#ME 023.
