Token not listed in R. Weiller's two books. The Café du Centre in Differdange is mentioned in the extract from the register of firms under number 402, published in 1909. The owner is a certain O. Thiry-Logelin. The date of Pierre Federspiel's takeover remains unknown, but is thought to be before 1926.
Café du Centre, usually referred to as "Café Federspiel", was located at 41, place du Marché in Differdange. Pierre Federspiel, who trained as a locksmith and blacksmith, and his wife Catherine Kugeler also ran a party room there, sometimes referred to as the "national theater".
