Reverse
The outer rim contains the text "ATENEO DE MANILA UNIVERSITY SESQUICENTENNIAL". The center has two circular heraldic symbols. The upper symbol has inscriptions that read "LUX IN DOMINO" in the upper rim, and "ATENEO" in the lower rim with "JHS" in the inner part. The lower heraldic symbol has "1859 jhs 2009" in its upper rim, and "THE ATENEO WAY" in the lower rim. "150" is in the inner part of the heraldic symbol. The rest of the medals center is adorned by filigree type of etchings that surround the two heraldic symbols.
