A standard 1987 penny Composition, Copper plated zinc, Weight 2.5 g, Diameter 19.05 mm, Thickness 1.3 mmAfter modified the diameter the diameter is 19.43mm and the thickness to 1.63mm. It may be just the process of reeding that cause the change in dimentions. A person purchased the remaining stock of a coin shop and these were in the lot.
