The "Happy Dukat" project, implemented by the Mint of Poland since 2014, consists in donating the rest of the purchases to charity. Retail chains that act as intermediaries in the distribution of Ducats and their customers participate in it. From June to August 2016, all those who want to take part in this action can receive a brass ducat for every PLN 5 change, minted by minters of the Mint of Poland based on the design of one of the athletes - this year's ambassadors of the project. In this way, they will support the charges of UNICEF Polska, the Marcin Gortat Foundation "MIERZ WYSOKO" and the TVN Foundation "you are not alone".
