Wilhelm Ehreke's grocery store is already mentioned in a photo of Leipziger Strasse taken in 1888: https://www.alamyimages.fr/la-photo-montre-leipziger-strasse-en-direction-de-potsdamer-platz-a-berlin-mitte-en-1888-une-partie-de-l-ancien-manoir-prussien-siege-de-la-premiere-chambre-du-parlement-prussien-aujourd-hui-siege-du-bundesrat-est-visible-sur-la-gauche-sur-la-droite-vous-pouvez-voir-l-epicerie-du-marchand-wilhelm-ehrecke-a-leipziger-strasse-n-131-traduction-automatique-image446960626.html.The stamp below indicates that it must have specialized in the tea trade...

The grocer's founder lived from 1840 to 1915. It must therefore have been taken over by his descendants, as the reference to West Berlin on the token (BERLIN W.) indicates that it was produced between the end of the Second World War and the fall of the Berlin Wall, i.e. after February 11, 1945 (Yalta Conference) and before the reunification of Germany on October 3, 1990... Modern tokens exist with the simple indication "BERLIN"...
Note that the current spelling of "tea" in German is "Tee".
