Comment

Founded in 1819 in the Aargau town of Zofingen, the Swiss Society of Zofingen (Schweizerischer Zofingerverein in German) is one of the oldest student societies in Switzerland. Its initial aim was to promote the creation of a Swiss federal state, restoring the freedoms that the Federal Pact of 1815 had abolished.
