5766/2006 Season's Greetings token.Dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of illegal immigration of Holocaust survivors during the years 1945-46. The legend on the token's obverse reads IUDAEA RESTORATA (Judea restored) and MCMXLV - MCMXLVI (1945-1946). The left structure is the Arch of Titus, symbolizing Europe and Jewish suffering during the ages. The right image symbolizes arrival in the Promised Land. Both images are separated by a wall, but simultaneously linked by the sea. The motto "Let us go up to Zion" is taken from the biblical Book Jeremiah 31:6.
The token was issued and mailed to IGCMC subscribers during August/September 2005, towards Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) 5766.
