Albert Hoffmann and Marie-Josée Kuth took over the establishment in 1966. The café has been in the Hoffmann family's possession since 1919. Even back then, it had a bowling alley. The café also had a hall that was used for various events.Token from the Auguste Nimax firm, struck at the Fisch & Co workshop in Brussels. This die [typologie Weiller n° 50] was used from the 1930s until 1971. It is by far the most widely used die, with a minimum of 452 different Luxembourg tokens struck with this die. The Albert Hoffmann-Kuth café token was minted in 1965 in an edition of 500.
