The factory accidentally inscribed the 1 franc and 5, 10 and 50 centime coins with "COLONIEGESTICHT" instead of "KOLONIEGESTICHT". This was resolved by re-stamping the coins with a "K" (re-stamped corner), but the trace of the "C" can often be seen, as in this photo of the 1 franc:
