Comment

The Chambre aux deniers is "a sort of accounting chamber set up for the personal expenses of the King, or rather the Hôtel du Roi" (Charles Préau, Study on the Chambre aux deniers du Roi from the 12th to the 16th century). It is also called "hotel room" and is established regularly from the reign of Saint Louis. The expenses of the offices, Paneterie, Échansonnerie, Cuisine, Fruiterie, Stable and Pound, are regulated by the Chamber of funds, which was made deliver funds by the Chamber of the Treasury.
