The Royal Air Force Museum has two sites: Hendon (London) and Cosford. This token is from the Hendon site, which has six large hangars filled with aeroplanes and helicopters from both World Wars, the Cold War and beyond. The Lancaster is a very iconic aircraft of the Royal Air Force, best known for the Dambusters Raid with 617 Squadron modified Lancasters, which took place on 16-17 May 1943 during the Second World War.
