Louis de Gonzague (Italian: Luigi Gonzaga), born March 9, 1568 in Castiglione delle Stiviere and died June 21, 1591 in Rome, was a member of the House of Gonzaga and a Jesuit student who died serving the plague victims. He was canonized in 1726.Saint Louis is often depicted wearing a bouquet of lilies, alluding to his purity.
