Comment
This object cannot be a 1 peso coin.It does not match the Mexican monetary standard in weight, design and diameter.
There is no 1 peso coin dated 1865 in Mexican coinage.
It is a fantasy, whose origin and gold content is even doubtful, and there are many types.
The first examples, of fairly good quality, appeared in the 1960s and were probably of Italian origin, but also and perhaps Lebanese.
The most recent examples seem to be of Chinese origin and do not seem to contain gold, but simply to be colored.
Currently they are made in China.
Very low quality of engraving, uncertain metal.
