To entertain Montreux Palace guests, a sports pavilion was built in 1911. It included a roller-skating hall, four bowling lanes and a shooting gallery. A large tea room was located at street level. Still owned by Montreux Palace, the building is now known as "La Coupole" (Bazzanella, 2014).
