This Pearl Harbor Official Commemorative Medallion was minted in proof condition by the Honolulu Mint Hawaii by order of the Arizona Memorial Museum Association. Released in 1991 on the 50th anniversary of the infamous Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, the medallion is struck with 1 ounce of .999 fine silver and encapsulated. It is presented in a blue velvet-lined case with a white cardboard sleeve. An unnumbered Certificate of Authenticity is included, featuring the signature of the director of the Honolulu Mint, Steven D. Lee.
