This plaque was ordered by Nitroglycerin AB for celebrating the 50th anniversary of Alfred Nobel's invention of extradynamite 1879-1929.
Nitroglycerin AB was the first company founded by Alfred Nobel and also the first company in the world to manufacture nitroglycerine in commercial quantities.
After the death of Alfred Nobel the company was sold and the money went in to the Nobel foundation and the Nobel prize.
The company still exists today, but under a different name.
