Comment

The Museu de Valores (Values Museum) Was inaugurated on 1972 at Rio de Janeiro, as part of the commemorating program for the 150th. Anniversary of the Independence of Brazil. The creation process of the Museum, therefore, is earlier than the creation of Central Bank of Brazil.

After 50 years, the Museum already was visited for several thousands of people, and served for hundreds of investigations. The Museum has politics of borrow the the artworks to important museums and institutions in Brazil ans other countries. With nearly 135 thousand pieces, it is one of the most important and complete numismatic collections about economical history of Brazil.
