In 1970, Albert M. Beck founded the "Organisation of European Coin Exchanges", "Organisation Europäischer Münzen-Börsen" (OEMB) in Munich. He nurtured the idea of building a stronger market for coin collecting.
Two years later, the first international coin exchange took place in Basel. Over the years, it developed into the World Money Fair. Today, over 40 nations are members of this organization. In 2006, the exchange moved to Berlin. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Money_Fair
