This token represents the head of a superb bird, one of the privileged guests of the Villars-les-Dombes ornithological park.
With its cobalt-blue livery, the Hyacinth Macaw is the largest of all parrots, measuring 1 meter from tip of beak to tip of tail, with a wingspan of 1.5 meters. It lives in the wild in South America. Its lifespan is over 50 years. It is an endangered and protected species.
