Comment
The two towers of the western façade are not exactly twins. The north tower (left) is slightly stronger and wider than the south tower, which is easily noticed when looking at the whole from the center of the square. This difference is due to the fact that the north buttress of the north tower is much wider than the south buttress of the south tower, at the level of the balcony of the Virgin Mary on the façade. After climbing 400 steps, you reach the Chimera Gallery, the legendary 13-ton drone, and finally the panoramic terrace. The "Victor Hugo" tour includes a sound system for the bells and explanatory panels.
