It is a cinema and a film distribution company, member of the Union of Independent Distributors.Designed by the architects Adrien Fainsilber, it was inaugurated on May 6, 1985 by the President of the Republic François Mitterrand. Other hemispheric cinemas exist in France, but this one is the only one in the Paris region, since the closure of the Dôme de La Défense in 2001.
