They are graphic designers, art directors and authors of global advertising campaigns for luxury brands (Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, Yohji Yamamoto, Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, etc.).); video clips with Björk, Benjamin Biolay (Padam...), Jean-Louis Murat; designed opera and theater posters and sets (Théâtre de Lorient, Théâtre National de Bretagne, Antigona by Tommaso Traetta; La pluie d'été/Hiroshima mon amour by Marguerite Duras); created album covers for Björk, Madonna, Étienne Daho, Mathieu Boogaerts, Benjamin Biolay, Vanessa Paradis etc. ; regularly collaborate with contemporary artists (Philippe Parreno, Pierre Huyghe, Liam Gillick, Gabriela Fridriksdottir, François Curlet, Douglas Gordon, Inez & Vinoodh etc.) and art institutions (ARC/Musée d'art moderne de la ville de Paris, Centre national d'art et de culture Georges-Pompidou, Le Consortium etc.), or are involved in a variety of innovative projects (scarves with Kanye West, medals with La Monnaie de Paris, etc.).

They have also been artistic directors of Les Inrockuptibles magazine (Michael Amzalag, 1989-1990); eDEN/Fanzine House Stylé (1994-1997); Documents sur l'Art (1995-2000); Vogue Paris (2000-2002); the French magazine Purple (since 2006); Arena Homme+ (since 2007, UK) and Interview Magazine (2009, USA).

Alongside their commissioned work, they have developed their own exhibition practice, reinterpreting their archives to construct their "landscape", as at the Frankfurter Kunstverein (2005), at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2005), mixing their posters with works from the Dakis Joannou collection, at the Haunch of Venison gallery in London (2006) and in Paris at the Centre national d'art et culture Georges-Pompidou.art et de culture Georges-Pompidou in their "Vision Tenace" exhibition (2008), featuring reproductions of their posters from the Art Posters series created in collaboration with contemporary artists.

The offices of M/M (Paris) are located on rue des Récollets in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.

As part of La Nuit Blanche on October 5, 2013, M/M (Paris) designed two artists' medals in their likeness, issued by La Monnaie de Paris.

M/M (Paris) takes part in the first Fête du Graphisme in January and February 2014 in Paris.

In January 2012, Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak were promoted to Chevaliers dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.
