The lake of Guerlédan is a French artificial lake located on the one hand on the communes of Saint-Aignan and Sainte-Brigitte in Morbihan and, on the other hand, those of Mûr-de-Bretagne, Caurel and Saint-Gelven in the Côtes-d'Armor. It materializes, in part, the limit between Morbihan and Côtes-d'Armor.With an area of 304 ha, 12 km long and 45 m deep at the foot of the dam, the lake of Guerlédan is the largest artificial lake in Brittany.
Its formation is due to the construction of the Guerlédan dam from 1923 to 1930 on the Blavet river. It feeds the electric plant of the dam, with a power of 15 MW, operated since 1946 by EDF. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lac_de_Guerl%C3%A9dan
