This token is currently only sold as a collector's item and accompanies a €10 silver coin "Centenaire de l'Armistice de 1918", selling at the Monnaie de Paris for €15.00.The token features a cornflower and a poppy. These two wildflowers continued to grow in the shell-torn ground, and were often the only colorful touch for soldiers in the trenches of the First World War. Since 1916, these flowers have become an emblem of remembrance and solidarity with veterans, war victims, widows and orphans.
