Bela Rada is the name of a very popular traditional song and dance from Serbia. Carried by a single wearer, Bela Rada measures from 2.80m to 2.90m. The costumes are truly the originality and prestige of the giant Bela Rada: the fruit of several years' extraordinary craftsmanship, undertaken by a team of ten or so volunteers in a wide variety of techniques: weaving, pleating, embroidery, tailoring, knitting, crochet, etc. Their production began in October 2006. Production began in October 2006 and has not stopped to this day. Bela Rada is one of the few giants to be able to wear several different outfits, like any traditional ballet dancer. Bela Rada is also France's ambassador to the world of giants, and Serbia's ambassador to the rich heritage of 19th-century dress.
