On Tuesday November 16, 2010, the official competition mascots were unveiled to the public in Warsaw. Wearing the colors of both countries, they are quite similar to the 2008 mascots, also created by Warner Bros. The following day, they make their first appearance in a stadium, before Poland's friendly against Côte d'Ivoire in Poznań, and Ukraine's against Switzerland in Geneva. Not yet named, UEFA has invited Internet users to take part for the second time, giving them a choice of three duos of names, which they can vote for until December 3. The following day, in Kiev, the European governing body unveiled the results of the vote, which involved 39,233 people and resulted in the Slavek - Slavko duo winning the vote.The "Collection Jeton Touristique" website ranks this token in Ukraine.
