Designed by architect and Royal Canadian Air Force veteran Brian K. Chamberlain, the Juno Beach Centre building features architectural allusions to several Canadian symbols. Its stylized shape is similar to the Order of Canada medal, and the building's five points evoke those of the maple leaf. The five points are also a tribute to the five beaches of the Normandy landings: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. Finally, the five slopes are reminiscent of a spinning top, giving an impression of movement and reminding us that the Juno Beach Centre is not only a place of remembrance, but also a place of living history. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centre_Juno_BeachPrice
