The dungeon of the castle of Vincennes which dominates the western side of the ramparts of the castle with its 50 m.This magnificent structure, the highest medieval fortified building in Europe, is a masterpiece of 14th century military art. In the lower part of the medal, we can see that it is surrounded by an enclosure, also fortified, or "chemise" with a turret at each corner.
