The view of the castle from Duilhac (to the south) is impressive, due to the 30 to 40-metre sheer drop on which it stands. The main entrance is on the north side, but in the days of the Cathars, the castle could be entered via a hidden passageway via a removable ladder, following a narrow path behind a large rocky spur. Today, the postern of the back passage is closed, but the path is still present (the passage behind the spur is exceptional) and it is possible to complete the ascent by a climbing route. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Château_de_PeyrepertusePrice
