Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Damas is the middle east’s leading international jewellery and watch retailer. Founded in 1907, today there are about 300 stores in the middle east, most of which are located in the GCC region. Damas international was acquired in April 2012 by a consortium led by Mannai corporation GSC and subsequently has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Mannai corporation.
The 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship took place in United Arab Emirates between 27 November and 19 December 2003. The 2003 championship was the 14th contested. The competition was originally planned to be played earlier in that year, but was moved because of the Iraq War.
