Kitchener's city hall as depicted on this medal was built in 1924, and was demolished in 1973. The clocktower was saved and remains as a symbol of the city of Kitchener, standing on it's own in Victoria park.The date 1912 on this medal is the year Berlin, later renamed Kitchener, was incorporated as a city.
