Large 'V' in the middle with a smaller 'E' on its lower right-hand side, in the centre of a large Union Jack stretching across the diameter. Above the 'V' is an arc, above which is the arched word 'VICTORY'. The border bears a small 'V' repeated around the entire reverse.

Comment

This is the last coin of the series made by Windsor Mint to mark the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in 2020. This is the only one of this type (solid 14-carat gold, 11m diameter, 0.5g); the other six coins are 32g, 40mm copper coins with 24-carat gold plate. They are held in a presentation pack, and each has a certificate of authenticity, including the specific mint number of the accompanying coin.
Interestingly, the presentation case displays a different reverse for where this coin is held; the case's reverse shows a seated full-length Winston Churchill with a Union Jack in the background and 'SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL' across the top. The certificate of authenticity for this coin states its Issue Year is 2019, rather than the 2020 used on all of the other coins in the series. Yet the reverse is near-identical (apart from the mintmark's location and the additional '585') to the other larger coins, and it specifically commemorates VE Day, which marked 75 years in 2020, the year of the series' release. Perhaps, therefore, there were two reverse varieties struck for the 14-carat coin.
