Comment

Victorian Era, Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club gold Medal 1872, by J. S. Wyon, Eimer-1620, BHM-2949 (RRR), 45 mm, plain edge, uncertified, a Brilliant Proof having stray light hairlines, very choice for issue, with the fields deeply mirrored, the portrait of H. R. H. Prince Arthur in high relief and virtually perfect. Issued for the founding of the yacht club. Extremely rare.
