Victoria gold Specimen "Golden Jubliee" Medal ND (1887) Royal mint, Eimer-1733a, BHM-3219. An impressive example of this highly detailed, imposing commemorative medal struck in gold, with light hairlines in the fields as is almost always the case with large format medals, but motifs that show considerable care, remaining free of abrasions or other imperfections. For the lover of Victoria's coinage, and especially her proof issues, an item that has obvious collecting parallels, yet is even more grand, displaying even more magnificent engraving and relief than her other presentation issues.Detail on reverse is showing the date.
