This is the official commemorative medal authorized by the Executive Committee appointed by the Selectmen to honor the town's 275th anniversary. According to the accompanying booklet, this medal was designed by Roland B. Hogan, Jr., of Kingston, NH from suggestions by Mrs. Andrew Christie.
The medals were engraved and struck by the V.H. Blackinton Company of Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts. In addition to bronze, these medals were also produced in silver.
