The Golden Tower (Torre del Oro in Spanish) is a military observation tower in the Andalusian city of Seville (Spain). It was built in the early 13th century, during Almohad rule, to control access to the city from the Guadalquivir. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torre_del_Oro
La Giralda is the former minaret of the great Almohad mosque in Seville, Andalusia. After the reconquest of the city (the Reconquista), the mosque was converted into a cathedral and the Giralda became the cathedral's bell tower. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Giralda
