History of British coinage, one of five in collection, presented in a book style display.medallion with golden doted, double leopard also called the gold florin, shown both obverse and reverse of the rare coin,
only three are known to be available today and two of them are at the British Museum. third was found by a metal detector in 2006 and was sold for £460,000.the coin was only ever struck in 1344, for use in Europe but was far to little underweight for value so was stopped quickly.
was only processed between January to July year 1344
