The Revenue Cutter Service was the first custom service of the early United States. It was to become the US Coast Guards.Revenue cutters were fast 1-2 masted vessels in charge of controlling the ships getting cargo into the US. The Californian is a replica built 1984, of the C.W.Lawrence from 1846.
